Community Involvement

The Harrison Mayor's Fund

Dedicated to helping those in need of financial assistance in the greater Harrison community.

The Harrison Mayor's Fund is a charitable organization dedicated to helping those in need of financial assistance in the greater Harrison community. The Mayor's Fund assists citizens in a variety of ways. With the assistance of Christ of Loving Hands (another charitable organization in the community) the Fund provides grocery vouchers, food pantry items, Duke energy bill assistance, and occasionally rent payments. During the holiday season, the Mayor's Fund, together with the various local churches and schools, provides assistance in the form of food, clothing, winter coats and toys to hundreds of families. View More

Pathways to Home

Pathways to Home is a nonprofit agency, founded in 1989 as Services to Area Youth, with the mission of assisting young, first-time mothers. Today, we continue that original passion through our Every Child Succeeds Home Visitation Program and has expanded our services in the community via our Give & Take Pantry and other outreach programs.

Neighborhood Bridges

Neighborhood Bridges is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that was launched in January 2017 to respond to the growing rate of poverty in suburban and rural America.

We utilize technology and social media to advocate for children and families in need and then engage the community through a "Campaign for Kindness" to address those needs.

Neighborhood Bridges is about kindness, speed, efficiency, and bridging all community resources to drive direct support and care, removing barriers for children/families in need.
